These two environmental magazines are translated from English to French, Spanish, and other languages, and are widely read in more than 120 countries around the world. We intend to make further effort in the activities promoting these long-awaited Japanese versions, so they will be utilized in different places and in different scenes as the best textbooks to raise global environmental awareness.

Exhibitions of the UNEP Photo Competition Winning Works and the UNEP Global Environment Information Display

Associates of the Earth held the exhibitions of the winning works from UNEP International Photographic Competition on the Environment. They were chosen from 120,000 entries from 169 countries and regions, capturing the "Current State of the Earth", under the theme of "Focus on Your World." Also, the UNEP Global Environment Information Display travels in and out of Japan to introduce the reality of beautiful nature, environmental problems and biodiversity on our planet to as many viewers as possible.

Please view the history of the Exhibition from here.

Window on UNEP Information and Events

In November 2007, the first "Window on UNEP Information and Events" in Japan was placed in the North Concourse of Tokyo Big Sight (Koto-city, Tokyo). Now the display is permanently installed at six places nationwide. It provides citizens with environmental information from UNEP being updated periodically. Please come and visit them.
